A new voice in Australian music, Isabel Rumble is captivating audiences around the country. Her songs invite listeners into a cocoon of reflection on the subtleties of love, longing and hope. Nominated for Folk Alliance Australia’s Contemporary Folk Album of the Year 2023, Isabel’s debut album Bird Be Brave defines a soul-stirring emerging artist.

She has played at festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, Party in the Paddock, Cobargo Folk Festival, PANAMA, Dark Mofo and Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival. In 2023 Isabel was selected from over 400 applicants to partake in the Women in Music Mentor program through AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association).

Following her emergence into the indie-folk scene in 2022 with standout singles Precious Burden and Solitary Dreaming, Rumble released her debut album Bird Be Brave in March 2023, recorded with Tasmanian producer Luke Plumb (The Mae Trip, Ruth Hazleton). She has since seen widespread national and community radio play and a run of sold out shows across six states.

In 2024 Isabel will be touring internationally and recording her second album in her home valley on Yuin Country in NSW.
